Julie’s soulful & sultry voice has been applauded all over the world.  She is well known throughout Canada’s amazing music community.  Julie Masi is a solid professional with a voice that resonates deeply in your heart.

Julie first leapt onto the popular music stage back in Winnipeg singing and recording with a Big Band, but is well known as lead singer/percussionist & co-writer of the gold and platinum selling Canadian group "The Parachute Club" with their unforgettable hit "Rise Up".

With 4 Juno Awards under her belt, Masi was also invited to perform and record with Alannah Myles, John Oates, Daniel Lanois, Michael Beinhorn, Burton Cummings, Dan Hill, Bruce Cockburn, Sarah McLachlan, Annie Lennox, Angelique Kidjo, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings and David Foster.  She has toured Canada, Europe, Jamaica and the USA to promote Parachute Clubs gold and platinum albums.

1986 Julie received an Actra Award for Best Variety Performance in radio for “Not the History of Rock ‘N Roll” (The Entertainers).

Julie moved to southern California in the 90’s and continued to record and perform, however moved back to Canada in 2003.

Julie continues to produce the popular annual “Winnipeg Social” in Kelowna.  She has raised over $30,000.00 for Prostate Cancer and is passionate about raising awareness of this disease to men of all ages.

She also wrote and produced the theme song for Bicycles for Humanity called “Humanity Rocks.” Bicycles for Humanity is a global grassroots movement that provides the gift of mobility delivered by a bicycle to many in developing countries.

In January 2019 Julie travelled to Toronto to re-record the Parachute Club’s smash hit Rise Up and film a video to support the new release.  You can view the video on You Tube. She then travelled to Toronto in the fall of 2019 as Rise Up was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame oand performed at the Awards show held in the Phoenix Theater in Toronto.

Last summer Julie was invited to sing with David Foster at Mission Hill Winery’s summer concert series.
